Introduction

Clifford Hospital's Oncology Center (CHOC) has been named a "National Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinical Education Base for Cancer", "National Traditional Chinese Medicine Research Center for Mammary Glands", and "Guangdong Representative Traditional Chinese Medicine Center for Oncology".

Its non-toxic integrative approach for treating cancer combines Western, Chinese and Alternative medicines. Techniques include hyperthermia, ozone therapy, balancing constitution therapy, Chinese traditional herbal medicine, and alternative medical therapies including acupuncture, herbal diet, nutritional support, psychological counseling, medical Qigong, and music therapy.

At CHOC, international-standard surgical procedures, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy are utilized alongside advanced procedures including cryoablation, gamma knife, photo-dynamic therapy, targeted therapy, stem-cell therapy, immune cell therapy, and gene therapy.

With the focus on prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention of recurrences and metastases, a team of specialists work together to develop a personalized treatment plan for each patient. This treatment plan aims to remove toxins from the body, boost the patient's immune system, and improve nutritional intake to prolong and improve their quality of life.
